Mark Serour

​Owner / Principal Interpreter

​Raised in Colorado, Mark has lived in Fort Collins since 1992. He holds a BA in History from Colorado State University and a MA in History (concentration Military and 19th Century American West) from American Military University. His subject knowledge is evidenced by 25+ years of research. 

​
Professional experience includes:
  • History Interpreter with the National Park Service, Fort Laramie NHS (Fort Laramie, WY); Greeley History Museum - Centennial Village (Greeley, CO); Rupp House History Center (Gettysburg, PA)
  • Adjunct Instructor of U.S. History and Colorado History at Aims Community College (Greeley, CO) and Front Range Community College
    (Fort Collins, CO)
  • Assistant Museum Director at Trinidad History Museum (Trinidad, CO), Museum Collections Assistant with History Colorado
  • Guest Speaker - Council on America’s Military Past (Rapid City, SD); Scottsbluff NM (Scottsbluff, NE); Fort Collins Westerners (Fort Collins, CO)
  • Living historian for over 15 years specializing in both 19th century civilian and military impressions.

Wendy Serour

​Owner / Director of Community Engagement

​Raised Upstate New York, Wendy has lived in Fort Collins since 1993. She holds a BA in Graphic Design from SUNY Buffalo State College. During her career, Wendy has served in a variety of roles along the Front Range and has a passion for developing relationships and programs while connecting people, communities, and programs.
